1. Who We Are
Rogello (rogello.com) is a free utility website providing operational tools including Canadian payroll calculators, invoice and receipt generators, tax calculators, health tools, and general productivity utilities. This site is operated by Rogello, based in Toronto, Canada.
Questions about this policy? Contact us at info@rogello.com.
2. Information We Collect
Rogello does not require account registration or login for any of its free tools. We do not collect, store, or transmit the data you enter into calculators or generators. All calculations happen client-side in your browser.
The following types of information may be collected automatically:
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, device type, and general geographic region (country/city level), collected via Google Analytics.
- Cookies — small data files placed on your device by Google Analytics and Google AdSense for analytics, advertising, and personalization purposes.
- IP address — processed by Google Analytics and AdSense in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Rogello itself does not log or store IP addresses.
3. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data including page views, session duration, device and browser information, and approximate location. This data helps us improve tools and prioritize new features.
Google Analytics uses cookies and may transfer data to servers in the United States. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Google AdSense and Advertising
Rogello displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads that are relevant to your interests based on your browsing behaviour across sites.
Google may use the DoubleClick cookie and other technologies to serve interest-based ads. You can review and adjust your Google ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
We do not control the content of ads served by Google. Ad serving is governed by Google's advertising policies.
5. Cookies
Rogello itself does not set first-party cookies. Cookies on this site are set by third-party services including Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These cookies may be used to:
- Distinguish unique visitors and sessions for analytics purposes
- Remember user preferences for ad personalization
- Measure ad performance and prevent duplicate ad serving
- Detect fraud and ensure ad quality
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some third-party features. For more information on managing cookies, see allaboutcookies.org.
6. Tool Data — Calculators and Generators
All calculation tools on Rogello — including paycheck calculators, payroll estimators, BMI calculators, invoice generators, and receipt makers — operate entirely within your browser. Data you enter into these tools is:
- Never transmitted to Rogello's servers
- Never stored in a database
- Never shared with third parties by Rogello
- Processed locally using JavaScript in your browser session only
When you generate an invoice or receipt PDF, the document is created locally in your browser. Rogello does not retain copies of invoices, client information, or financial data you enter into tools.
7. Third-Party Services
In addition to Google Analytics and AdSense, this site may link to or integrate with the following types of third-party services:
- Google Fonts — used to load the Fraunces and DM Sans typefaces. Font requests are made to Google's servers and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- CDN providers — static assets may be served via content delivery networks.
- Payment processors (future) — Rogello Pro and future paid features may integrate with Stripe or other payment processors. When payment features are active, their respective privacy policies will apply to payment data. Rogello will never store raw card numbers.
Rogello is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
8. Children's Privacy
Rogello's tools are intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us at info@rogello.com and we will take appropriate action.
9. Canadian Privacy Law
Rogello operates primarily for Canadian users and is mindful of obligations under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. As we do not collect personal information through our tools, most PIPEDA obligations relating to consent, access, and correction do not arise in the context of typical tool use.
If you submit a contact inquiry or email us, any personal information you provide will be used only to respond to your message and will not be shared with third parties.
10. Data Retention
Because Rogello does not collect personal data through its tools, there is no user data to retain or delete. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies, which you can review in your browser settings or Google's privacy controls.
If you contact us by email, we may retain your email address and message for as long as necessary to respond and for legitimate record-keeping purposes.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data. Since Rogello does not collect personal data through its tools, these rights are primarily relevant to:
- Email correspondence — contact info@rogello.com to request deletion.
- Google Analytics data — manage via Google's privacy controls or the GA opt-out add-on.
- Ad personalization — manage via Google Ad Settings or your browser's cookie controls.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve — particularly as paid features and additional tools are introduced. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Rogello after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
